This bespoke Hamper comprises The Restaurant Pendolino's artisan pasta, a jar of the exquisite Basilico pasta sauce, our very own Dolce extra virgin olive oil and a bottle of 2014 Il Carpino Rosso Carpino Venezia Giulia IGT.

Each hamper includes: 

1 x Artisan Pappardelle - plant based pasta (no egg), 250g

1 x Basilico - Traditional Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce by Pendolino, 480g

1 x Pendolino Dolce Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 500ml

1 x Merlot Blend - 2014 Il Carpino Rosso Carpino Venezia Giulia IGT:
Rosso Carpino is a Bordeaux blend made with Merlot as the base, and finished with 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. The two varieties are vinified separately in cask and tonneaux barrels for a minimum of 2 years. After this time, the wines are refined in bottle for a further 2 years. This wine is graceful and smooth, showing a lot of dark fruit, in particular blackcurrant, and spice aromas. Some oak comes through the nose but never overpowers. The palate is complex, releasing notes of cherry and finishing with silky tannins. The wine pairs well with tomato-based pasta dishes, lamb dishes and Fiorentina steaks.
